Compression Hosiery

Compressions Hosiery are designed to improve a person's circulation by applying pressure to the legs. This compression encourages blood flow to the heart. Compression is often tightest at the ankle and gradually eases further up the leg for optimum comfort. Compression hosiery also help to prevent the build up of excess fluid in the legs (particularly around the ankles).

During a compression hosiery consultation, our Pharmacist will help to get the correct measurements, help you to choose and fit the right hosiery for you. Your consultation will be carried out in one of our private consultation rooms.  New measurements will be taken each time you need new hosiery. Our Pharmacist will also advice you if you can avail of compression hosiery on the medical card scheme.
